Cash vouchers up for grabs at Oktoberfest finale this Wednesday

10/11/2014

This season's beer-filled Oktoberfest at Happy Valley Racecourse will celebrate its finale amid the vibrant trackside atmosphere at the racenight this Wednesday (12 November). Partygoers will have the chance to win fantastic prizes including vouchers worth HK$3,000 in the fun-filled Perfect Draught Pouring challenge. Other games on tap like the Cheer Up Challenge and Speed Drinking Contest are sure to keep the festive fun going all night long.

This year, fans can savour 11 different brews during the Oktoberfest celebrations.  To complement these, The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s German-born Executive Chef Bruno Burg and his team have prepared a selection of eight German delicacies for fans to enjoy, available at the Beer Garden takeaway counters from HK$30 per item. Roasted Pork Knuckle with Sauerkraut, Mixed Sausages with Sauerkraut and Blue Mussels in Beer Broth are amongst the not-to-be-missed signature items.

The Notenhobler, a top band from Munich, will also be on hand to entertain Valley fans with German drinking songs and other favourites in the final episode of this popular celebration(Photo 1).

Happy Valley Racecourse hotspots adrenaline and The Gallery will be equally geared up to provide endless fun for beer lovers.  The buffet menu in adrenaline and the semi-buffet dinner in The Gallery will boast an array of mouthwatering traditional German dishes.   Both venues will feature a special "frozen beer" from Japanese brand Kirin, as well as a tasting offer on three designated brews.

Fans can stayed tuned to the latest updates on promotional offers at adrenaline and The Gallery by logging in to the Happy Wednesday Facebook page.
Please refer to Beer Garden notices for detailed game rules and terms and conditions.  All racegoers must be aged 18 or above. For enquiries, please call HKJC’s Customer Service Hotline 1817 or visit www.hkjc.com.
