In celebration of the fourth edition of the Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy (photo 1), Hong Kong’s very first Gentlemen’s Bow-tie Day will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on 25th October. Racegoers are invited to attend in bow-ties or bow-related accessories. Each racegoer will receive a bow-tie themed mobile phone stand (photo 2) as a door gift, which will be available until Race 5 or while stocks last.
Sponsored by Oriental Watch Company in collaboration with The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the day will feature a spectacular watch and fashion show at the Parade Ring. Models, including celebrity models Gregory Wong (photo 3) and Elanne Kwong (photo 4), will show off the latest evening dresses by renowned fashion designer Pius Cheung, as well as luxury timepieces.
Limited edition bow-ties (photo 5) and other accessories (photo 6,7, 8, 9) will also be available for purchase exclusively at racecourse shops. Specially commissioned from top international designers Suki Tsui, Ophelia Jacarini and Marc Allante, the items combine equestrian and horological themes and can be purchased at the Mobile Gift Shop in the Members’ Enclosure and at the Gift at Races souvenir shop, while stocks last.

Top-class sporting action is assured with the running of two Group 2 races – the Orieantal Watch Sha Tin Trophy (1,600m) and the Premier Bowl (1,200m). Ten races are programmed for the day, with the first starting at 1:00 pm. Sha Tin Racecourse will open at 11:00 am on 25 October.
