G1 winner of the Kingston Town Classic at this distance in December 2014. Placed only one of nine starts since then but latest effort encouraging when 3.7 lengths 4th to Complacent in the G3 Craven Plate (2000m) at Randwick on 3 October.

Good effort at second run this season when 1.2 lengths 3rd to Digitalism in the Listed Cranbourne Cup (2025m) on 11 October. Should be close to peak and has two wins and a second from three starts at this distance. Outclassed when 12.1 lengths 11th to Gailo Chop in G 1 Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) on Saturday.

Rudy

Back a notch in grade after 6.6 lengths 10th to Turn Me Loose in G2 Crystal Mile (1600m) at Moonee Valley on 24 October when track pattern was against. Any rain would significantly improve his prospects.

Desert Jeuney

Ran on well to win Pakenham 2000m Handicap on 15 October by 1 length from Freshwater Storm and subsequent winner Our Voodoo Prince. Always competitive in this type of race.

Hopfgarten

Back in grade from G1 and G2 races where he's had little luck. Not disgraced when 5.5 lengths 10th to Lucky Hussler in G1 Toorak Handicap nor when 5.75 lengths 6th to Turn Me Loose in G2 Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley.

Jacquinot Bay

Capable front-runner who was head 2nd to Kenjorwood in Caulfield 1700m Handicap before 4 lengths 7th to Lucky Hussler in the G1 Toorak Handicap at Caulfield on 10 October. Down in class.

Sadler's Lake

Won twice at 1400m at Randwick on soft ground in September before 3.9 lengths 9th to superstar Winx in G1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) and 2.4 lengths 4th to Stratum Star in G3 David Jones Cup (2000m) at Caulfield on 17 October.

Calvin Williams

Import well beaten in two starts in Australia. Had first run since April when always well back 9.2 lengths 12th to Turn Me Loose in Listed Seymour Cup (1600m) on 18 October.

Ran on well against the pattern when 4 lengths 4th to Turn Me Loose in G2 Crystal Mile (1600m) at Moonee Valley on 24 October after 3.7 lengths 7th to Winx in G1 Epsom Handicap.

Sound effort when head 2nd to Amovatio in Listed Weekend Hussler Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield before caught wide throughout when 0.8 lengths 4th to Evangelist in Listed Sale Cup (1600m) on 25 October.

Ideally wants 2000m plus but not without some chance after solid 5.25 lengths 4th to Turn Me Loose in Listed Seymour Cup (1600m) on 18 October at third run this season.

Having first run since May when 15.2 lengths 13th to Turn Me Loose in Listed Seymour Cup (1600m) on 18 October. Likely to need further. Last win was at 3200m.

Racing well. Finished 2.5 lengths 4th to Kenjorwood and Jacquinot Bay in Caulfield 1700m Handicap before 1.75 lengths win from Sir Berus in Caulfield 1600m BM 90 on 14 October.

Scream Machine

Did not enjoy the clearest of runs when 3.25 lengths second behind Turn Me Loose, who has since won G2 Crystal Mile, in the Listed Seymour Cup on 18 October.

Strong on-pace performance when 1 length 2nd to the in-form Stratum Star in the G3 David Jones Cup (2000m) on 17 October.

Won at this distance at Rosehill in November last year. Unplaced three starts since. Latest was 5.1 lengths 7th to Good Project in Randwick 1600m BM 92 on 17 October.

Fitter for two runs this season and did run well when 4 lengths 3rd to Turn Me Loose in Listed Seymour Cup (1600m) on 18 October.

Unplaced four starts this season. Latest was 2.5 lengths 5th to Lucky Paddy in Moonee Valley 1600m Handicap on 23 October and would have to improve.
