Chairman’s Sprint Prize

AMAZING KIDS (HK)
Jockey Nash Rawiller: “It wouldn't be a huge surprise to see one of the four-year-olds run very well, even though they're right in the deep end here, as they've come through their classes very quickly,” he said in reference to his mount Amazing Kids along with Lucky Bubbles and Thewizardofoz.

“Amazing Kids is a lovely strong horse and drawn well to have the last shot at them. I won't push him early. The more I leave him alone early the more he'll have for me at the finish.”

BUFFERING (AUS)
Cantered on the all-weather track.
Trainer Robert Heathcote said: “I’m very happy with him. His coat's great and he's very well in himself.”

CHAUTAUQUA (AUS)
Worked on the turf course and covered 800m in 53.9s (30.2, 23.7) with a closing 200m of 11.2s.
Trainer Michael Hawkes described the horse as “spot on.”
John Hawkes, father and training partner at home, said: “Really good, he wasn't out to do much this morning. He was a touch keen, wanting to get on with it but he always gets a touch keen in his work; same as at home. He's happy. It's no easy task on Sunday taking on the very good locals and old Buffering who's still winning Group 1 races but we're happy with our horse.”

LUCKY BUBBLES (HK)
Worked 800m on the all-weather track under Brett Prebble, clocking 57.4s (30.2, 27.2).

MONGOLIAN SATURDAY (USA)
Stayed in the quarantine stables this morning as planned.

STRATHMORE (HK)
Worked on the all-weather track, covering 400m in 26.6s.
