The Stewards have been provided with written advice from the New Zealand Racing Integrity Unit that AMBITIOUS PINS (V265), which raced with the same name prior to being imported into Hong Kong, wore blinkers in all of its race starts conducted in New Zealand.
Mr R Gibson, trainer of AMBITIOUS PINS, has requested he be permitted to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test. Mr Gibson’s request has been approved.
