Dressing up with bows for the Gentlemen��s Bow-tie Day on 23 October at Sha Tin Racecourse

The Oriental Watch 55th Anniversary Sha Tin Trophy race day, also known as the Gentlemen’s Bow-tie Day (photo 1), will be held on 23 October at Sha Tin Racecourse. Racegoers are invited to attend the races in attire graced with bow-tie or bow-related elements. 

The day will feature two spectacular watch and fashion shows at the Parade Ring showing luxury timepieces. After Race 3, celebrity models Elanne Kwong (photo 2), Vincy Chan (photo 3) and Michelle Wai (photo 4) will take the lead on the runway, showing off evening dresses by renowned fashion designer Pius Cheung.  After Race 5, male models will catwalk the tuxedo presented by celebrity owner Edmond So’s tuxedo shop LUXE.

Mezza One, the food plaza at Sha Tin Racecourse, will present six special dishes, with prices from HK$28 and up.

Members and guests are welcome to join the Gentleman Bow Tie Award by taking a selfie at the designated photo booth at 1/F Members’ Enclosure before 3pm and then uploading to Instagram with #OWCGentlemensBowTieRaceday and #OrientalWatchShaTinTrophy.  Participants will have the chance to win a NOMOS Glashutte Tetra Himmelblau watch (photo 11) worth HK$19,800.

Top-class sporting action is assured with the running of two Group 2 races – the Oriental Watch 55th Anniversary Sha Tin Trophy (1600m) and the Premier Bowl (1200m).
