HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast three of the Caulfield Cup Day races from Caulfield Racecourse, Australia on Saturday 15 October 2016. On the same evening, five races of the British Champions Day to be held at Ascot Racecourse, Great Britain will be simulcast. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races. Winning Region (Composite Win) will also be offered for Champion Stakes and the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of Simulcast Race 7 (S1-7) and Race 8 (S1-8) will be each topped up with $600,000 jackpot. In addition, a jackpot of $173,283 is carried forward to the Double Trio pool of British Champions Day.
The Winning Region composites will be defined at 12:00 pm on Friday 14 October and tickets sales will be available after that time.
Race times and betting pools
The first race of the Caulfield Cup Day will start at 12:45 pm on Saturday 15 October. These overseas races will be scheduled as Simulcast Race 1 (S1-1) to Race 3 (S1-3). The first race of the British Champions Day will start at 9:00 pm on the same evening and these overseas races will be scheduled as Simulcast Race 4 (S1-4) to Race 8 (S1-8). 'S1' must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input 'overseas race' and the race number respectively.
If S1 or “Overseas race” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted
as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
