The Stewards have today been provided with a medical certificate advising that Freelance Jockey T H So, who was dislodged from SILVERFIELD in Race 6 at the Sha Tin race meeting conducted on Saturday, 8 October, has been ruled unfit to return to race riding until 31 October 2016 on which day Jockey So will undergo further tests and be medically re-assessed.
The Stewards have also been provided with a medical certificate advising that Freelance Jockey K C Ng, who sustained an injury to his left foot on 11 October 2016, has been diagnosed as having sustained a fracture to his foot and accordingly, remains unfit to ride until further notice.
A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to both Jockeys So and Ng’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
