Veteran who scored solid on-pace win in the Listed Tatts Cup (2400m) at Randwick on 15 October after 2.6 lengths 6th to Sir John Hawkwood in G1 The Metropolitan (2400m) at Randwick on 1 October. Still competitive.

Real Love

Strong winner of the G3 JRA CUP at 2040m before creditable 5 lengths 5th to Jameka in the G1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) at Caulfield on 15 October and looks well placed.

Tally

Sound in two runs this track including 6.5 lengths 3rd to Hartnell and Jameka in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 2 October before 7.8 lengths 12 to Jameka in G1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) on 15 October when raced on speed and was too keen early stages of race.

Pentathlon

Encouraging effort last Saturday when made late ground to finish 4.25 lengths 3rd to Grand Marshal in G2 Moonee Valley Cup (2500m). Tough stayer fitter for recent racing.

Tom Melbourne

Responded well to gear changes last start when sound 0.5 lengths 2nd to Vanbrugh in G3 Coongy Cup (2000m) at Caulfield on 15 October. Not proven at trip but genuine excuses one previous failure in distance range.

Hippopus

Rise in distance suits but has to improve sharply on latest 12 lengths last of eight behind Lord Durante in Moonee Valley 2040m Handicap on 21 October.

De Little Engine

Made ground in closing stages when satisfactory 7.3 lengths 9th to Jameka in G1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) on 15 October and this looks more suitable option.

Oceanographer

Ran on gamely, in otherwise leader dominated race, when 0.9 lengths 3rd to stablemate Qewy in G3 Geelong Cup (2400m) on 19 October. Strong claims.

Black Tomahawk

Consistent of late without winning. Chalked up sixth straight minor placing when 5 lengths 3rd to Almandin and subsequent winner Assign in Listed Harry White Stakes (2400m) at Caulfield on 24 September.

Rose Of Virginia

Turned in best run this season when handy 5.25 lengths 4th to Vanbrugh and Tom Melbourne in G3 Coongy Cup (2000m) at Caulfield on 15 October and can handle rise in distance.

The Bandit

Struggling to find form. Backs up from last Saturday when plain 11.5 lengths 6th to Grand Marshal in G2 Moonee Valley Cup (2500m).

Transfer Allowance

Racing well in weaker grade. Made late ground when 2 lengths 3rd to Authoritarian in 2050m Moe Cup (Handicap) at Moe on 13 October.
