The Stewards have been advised by Dr Peter Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation, that PURE SENSATION, trained by Christophe Clement and previously reported to have lameness issues, underwent a further veterinary inspection this morning in order to assess the horse's suitability to race this afternoon.
Dr Curl advised that following light work this morning the horse was found to be lame in the left front foot and is not suitable to race. Accordingly, PURE SENSATION has been withdrawn from the LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint to be conducted later today.
