Two Happy Valley parties are blasting off the New Year, with tons of fun happenings at the racecourse on Wednesday, 25 January and Thursday, 2 February (Photo 1). Live music, real-time performances, food, beer and games with prizes will ensure a good time for all.
A pair of round-trip tickets to Korea, as well as a pure gold rooster, will be up for grabs in fun games at the Beer Garden!
Festive offerings:
- Live Band & Lions: Double the fun with both Happy Wednesday’s resident band Carnivale and lion dance troop (Photo 2). Both will kick-start CNY with a bang!
- More photos more luck: Ambassadors wearing beautiful qipaos in vibrant colours will invite fans to take selfies with them.
- New Year Treasure Pot (Photo 3): “Treasure” is what race goers will literally find themselves searching for at this year’s CNY on-course activity! The grand prize includes a pair of round-trip tickets to Korea, a pure gold rooster, and much more!
The trackside kiosks will offer an array of Chinese New Year dishes, both auspicious and delicious, to start the New Year off on the right foot!

To join the contest, fans are to share their photos taken at Happy Wednesday with their friends on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #HappyWednesdayHK and #GoRacingHK. Each race night, the customer taking the photo selected as the best of the evening will be awarded a Samsung Curved Monitor!
At The Gallery and Stable Bend Terrace, the Best Dressed Award offers a HK$1,000 racecourse food and beverage gift certificate to the customer with the most festive attire.
