Dr Peter Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation has advised the Stewards that an inspection conducted this morning of ABLE FRIEND, trained by Mr John Moore and declared to run in the stated race, found the horse to be lame in the right front leg.
ABLE FRIEND’s condition will continue to be closely monitored and a further release will be issued at the appropriate time.
