Former UK galloper yet to win in Australia where his form has been mixed. Ran second to McCreery at 1300m on heavy ground before 2.9 10th of 11 behind It’s Somewhat in G2 Ajax Stakes (1500m) on soft ground at Rosehill on 11 March. Placed all conditions but UK wins on good ground.

Former Irish and HK galloper yet to win in Australia but has run several good placings including three at this course and distance. Sound effort when 4th to Winx in G2 Apollo Stakes before 2.8 lengths 9th to It’s Somewhat in G2 Ajax Stakes (1500m) on soft ground at Rosehill on 11 March. Second to Hauraki in last year’s Epsom Handicap.

Redkirk Warrior

Former HK galloper who’s won two of three starts in Australia. Won the G1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington on 11 March at first run this year and became only the second horse in 100 years to win that race first-up. Rise in distance no issue. Raced only once in career on soft ground (slightly affected) and was placed.

McCreery

Strong finishing win by one length from Arod in G3 at 1300m on 25 February before 12.1 lengths 5th to Winx in G1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on 18 March. Good record this distance and capable all conditions.

Endless Drama

Former Irish galloper yet to win in Australia. Beaten 6.8 and 7.2 lengths behind Winx in weight-for-age races at past two starts and will find this more suitable. Won barrier trial 21 March. Handles all conditions.

Sense Of Occasion

Not raced since January when 2 lengths 2nd to Red Excitement in Listed Gosford Gold Cup at 2100m. Had two recent barrier trials, usually races well fresh and handles soft and heavy ground.

Talented 3YO filly with good record this distance including G1 Myer Classic win over older mares last year. Easy work last time when 3.25 lengths winner from French Emotion in G2 Sunline Stakes (1600m) for fillies and mares at Moonee Valley on 24 March. Some query against her on slow and heavy ground. Drier the better.

Smart 3YO gelding who enjoyed good run but still impressive when 0.75 lengths winner from Prized Icon in G1 Australian Guineas (3YO - 1600m) at Flemington on 4 March. Won only start on soft ground; unknown on heavy.
