Cambage

Won two races up to 2100m on good ground. Placed one of three on soft. Sound effort, at second run this year, when 1.8 lengths 2nd to Lookin’ At You in Goulburn 2100m Class 2 on soft ground on 23 March.

Perfect Rhyme

Won Hawkesbury 1400m Fillies & Mares Handicap on heavy ground on 2 March before 4.9 lengths 4th to Dawn Wall in G3 Kembla Grange Classic (1600m) on soft ground on 10 March. First run this distance range.

Mull Over

Ran on well and impressed with 3 lengths win from Matron Wilson in Newcastle 1600m Maiden, on soft ground, on 17 March at only third start of career. Bred to stay.

High Impulse

Impressed with 5.3 lengths win from Itasca in Hawkesbury 1800m Maiden, on heavy ground, on 2 March at third start. Since placed in barrier trial. Shows promise.

Almalita

Led throughout to win Newcastle 2300m Class 1, on soft ground, last Saturday. Jumped from 1500m that day to record her first win at sixth start. Will run out the journey.

Fallacy

Ran on well to win Doomben 1650m Maiden, on heavy ground, on 22 March. That was fifth start and looks to be still improving.

Lamma Hilton

Struggled in heavy conditions when 38 lengths last of 11 behind Consommateur in G3 Epona Stakes (1900m) at Rosehill on 18 March. Needs firmer ground.

La Chatte

Last on settling and ran on well when 2.3 lengths 2nd to Diamond Meteor in Kembla Grange 1600m Maiden on soft ground on 10 March. Godolphin filly runner-up three of four starts.

Baysa

Finished strongly in one length win from Usena in Goulburn 1600m Maiden, on heavy ground, on 23 March. That was only third start and open to further improvement.

Dancing Hare

Failed to fire with blinkers first time when 8.7 lengths 11th to Princess Aria in Sandown 1800m BM 64 Handicap on good ground on 15 March. Not raced on soft ground. Blinkers come off.

Red Heat

Won past two at 1600m and 2100m on good ground. Latest was strong finishing long neck win from Bramwell in Canberra 2000m Class 1 on 18 March. Placed one of three on soft ground. Looks better on dry.

Face Like Thunder  

Won past two at 1600m and 2100m at minor venues but had only four starts and show some promise. Latest run was 1.5 lengths win from Set The Tone in Tuncurry 2100m BM 60 Handicap on soft ground on 11 March.

Matron Wilson

Ran 1.5 lengths 2nd to Perfect Rhyme at 1400m on heavy ground before 3 lengths 2nd to Mull Over in Newcastle 1600m Maiden, on soft ground, on 17 March. Placed four of seven starts.

Blanco Cara

Maiden after there starts. Last start, was 6.1 lengths 5th to Diamond Meteor in Kembla Grange 1600m Maiden, on soft ground, on 10 March. Step up in distance may assist.

Waking Moment

Beaten 8.4 lengths when 7th to Diamond Meteor in Kembla Grange 1600m Maiden, on soft ground, on 10 March at only third start. Bred to appreciate longer trip.

Usena

Better effort when one length 2nd to Baysa in Goulburn 1600m Maiden, on heavy ground, on 23 March. This is harder. Placed two of six starts.

 

Reserve

Natchwhali

Ran on strongly when one length 3rd to As I Do in Goulburn 1600m Maiden, on heavy ground, on 17 March. That was first start in a race and may take considerable improvement from the experience.
