DESIGNS ON ROME – HK
The 2014 APQEII Cup winner had steady work on the all-weather track.
Trainer John Moore said:“He’s as fit as I can get him. If he can run into the money we’ll be pleased and anything beyond that is a bonus.”

DICTON – FR
Hack-cantered two laps on the all-weather track.

NEOREALISM – JPN
Neorealism had an easy canter on the all-weather track and upped his pace a touch in the home straight to finish off.
Trainer Noriyuki Hori said: “Neorealism cantered on the all-weather track this morning. I gave him an easy canter to check his condition. He is in top form and is relaxed, not over-excited.”

PAKISTAN STAR – HK
Cantered on the small all-weather track.

SECRET WEAPON – HK
Cantered on the small all-weather track.

THE UNITED STATES – AUS
Cantered steadily for a couple of circuits of the turf track under big-race jockey Brett Prebble.
Nick Williams, part-owner, said: “He’s never let us down; he’s been a good horse to us. We’ve been happy with his preparation.”

WERTHER – HK
Last year’s winner had an easy canter on the small all-weather track.
Trainer John Moore said: “Everything’s gone to plan and he’s ready. It could be a tactical race with just the eight runners and no obvious speed but Werther’s ready for it and he’ll take all the beating given that he has home advantage.”
