Race 1 – COOL BROTHERS
COOL BROTHERS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. COOL BROTHERS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg with a sore fetlock. Before being allowed to race again, COOL BROTHERS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Race 3 – MONEY MONEY
MONEY MONEY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse had sustained a small overreach wound to the outside of the left front heel. MONEY MONEY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer T P Yung this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, MONEY MONEY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
Race 8 – HAY RUN
The Veterinary Officer reported that HAY RUN was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, HAY RUN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
