Jockey Chad Schofield, who was admitted to hospital last night after being dislodged from MOLLY’S JADE STAR in the final race at the Happy Valley race meeting, has this afternoon advised the Stewards that he has been cleared of any significant injuries and has been discharged from hospital. Jockey Schofield has further advised that he will undergo a medical examination on Saturday morning to determine whether he is fit to fulfil his riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 11 June 2017. A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Schofield’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
