Simulcast and betting arrangements for Diamond Jubilee Stakes Day and Takarazuka Kinen, with jackpot for Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool_updated

HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast six of the Diamond Jubilee Stakes Day races from Ascot Racecourse, UK on Saturday, 24 June 2017. Besides, Takarazuka Kinen Race to be held at Hanshin Racecourse, Japan will be simulcast as part of the Sha Tin day meeting on Sunday, 25 June 2017. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races. Besides, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of S1-4 will be topped up with a $600,000 jackpot.

Tickets sales for Diamond Jubilee Stakes Day will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday (Except S1-5 which will start selling at 9:00 pm) while tickets sales for Takarazuka Kinen Race will be available from 12:00 noon on Saturday (24 June).

Race times and betting pools

The first race of the Diamond Jubilee Stakes Day will start at 9:30 pm on Saturday (24 June). These overseas races will be scheduled as S1-1 to S1-6. Takarazuka Kinen Race is due to start at 2:40 pm on Sunday (25 June), when ten local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon.  The overseas race will be scheduled as S2-1 and the local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 10. S1 or 'S2' must be indicated for overseas race bets

Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or“S2 box” and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces.  Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input 'overseas race' and the race number respectively.

If “S1 box”, “S2 box” or “Overseas race” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
