The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting the Japan Cup from Tokyo Racecourse during the Sha Tin race meeting on Sunday, 26 November (race time 2:40pm).
Now at its 37th running, the Japan Cup (G1 2400m for 3yo+) is rated one of the most important mile and a half contests in the world. With a purse of 648 million yen (approximately HK$45 million), it is the joint richest race in Japan alongside the Arima Kinen.
Final declarations with barrier draws for the Japan Cup will be available on the morning of Friday, 24 November.
