April Mist

Mare looking good this year with all 6 starts on board. Experienced at distance, Nakayama. Last two starts 1-4, both over Nakayama 2500m, last start on 1 December. Can run from any position, over any going with good results. Looking good in work.

Black Morion

Filly unsuccessful in first two career starts over turf at 1800-2000m then moved to dirt. Now returning to turf after double-digit finishes at this level. First time at Nakayama. Wild card.

Bozzhira

Colt returning after 4 months off. Moving up in class after win under Christophe Lemaire last out in Sapporo 2600m on Aug 4. On Dec 11 still heavy but looking good in work. Turn of foot average but can run steady at speed over distance.

Caro Bambina

Filly raced predominately in 1800-2400m range. Held ground well and finished 2nd last out on 1 December in Nakayama 2500m at this level, best result at this level over last 4 starts. Has maintained condition.

Cosmo Llave

Finished 5th here last year, 1.75L behind the winner. Has 13 top 3 finishes from 39 starts, including a second and a third each at this level. Raced primarily over 2400m and up. Unplaced in 4 starts this year, best a 4th last out over Fukushima 2600m. Good movement but average times in track work. Honest runner but lacks speed.

Dream Spirit

Colt with experience at distance taking on third start after returning from 3 months off. Keen last out. Finished 5th under same conditions. Looking on game in work. Can run from any position.

Jadeed

Colt with 5 finishes in top three from 14 starts. Posted 6-8 over 2600m since moving up to this level. Tends to race from midfield. Can handle softer track. Last raced on 16 November, looking switched on in track work. Late speed average. Needs strong pace.

Nautical Chart

Colt moving up from NAR races. Wore cheekpieces and took lead for first time for win last out in Fukushima 2600m. Moving up in class. Decent speed. Maintaining condition. First time at Nakayama. Could surprise.

Satono Radius

3YO colt with 6-5-7 in G2 company in 2000-2400m range this year. Finished 3rd at this level last out over Tokyo 2400m on 2 November. Best results when racing from good position. Overall excellent speed. Looking good in track work.

Sublime

Colt has 2 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third from last 5 starts, all but one over lefthanded track. Coming off wire-to-wire win by 6 lengths in Tokyo 2400m last out. Moving up in class. Only Nakayama turf experience was 10th in career debut over 2000m.  Key will be whether can handle right-handed track.

Treasure Trove

Has 11 finishes in top three from 29 races. Raced primarily in 1800-2000m range. Best of 6 starts this term a 3rd in a Kyoto 2000m in January. Ran 6th in Kyoto 2200m last out on 9 November. Speed average. Likely not a contender.

Weiss Blitz

Colt has two starts at class below after returning to the JRA from the regional NAR circuit. Finished 6th in Niigata (left-handed track) over 2400m in early August. Last out won over Nakayama 2200m on 21 September.
