FITNESS:  Has slimmed his figure, moves fairly in gallops, his fitness is improving.

Son of US sire Grand Slam that was slow away in North Hill's trial over 800m January 15; pushed along to sit 3L behind leader Wilfred's Pet; moved up strongly between horses at 250m and kept on well to line under quiet riding to be beaten 0.75L. Raced keenly after little slow away in 1000m trial February 5; raced without cover and soon pulled his way to the front; passed at 150m but responded well when asked for finishing effort to regain lead and win. Withdrawn when found to be lame April 12. Has not trialed recently.

Better effort May 6 when sat 2.5L behind pace in recent trial and held ground to line, finishing 3L behind Bolero and Rising Win.

Slow away (2L) in 800m trial April 15 but quickly moved up to sit 3rd 2L off the pace; ridden quietly to line but held position as two leaders were pushed out to run well clear. Jumped better May 6 trial and settled 1.5L off leader; kept on well without being pushed to be beaten a head by Rising Win. He should improve further.
FITNESS:  Has slimmed his figure, looks bright and happy, his fitness is improved.

FITNESS:  Strode out only fairly in gallop and looks too quiet, still soft.

FITNESS:  Strode out only fairly in gallop, lacks strength and still looks dull.
