Many thousands of bettors now use SpeedPOWER form data each race day and we believe many of you have developed efficient and profitable ways of using the different kinds of information provided, such as Speed Figures, Speed Maps, SpeedPICK etc.

But skills can always be improved further, and this forum is aimed at putting you in touch with each other so you can compare notes on what works and what does not, so that hopefully all SpeedPOWER users can achieve even more winning results.

SpeedPICK

I have a simple formula for winning that works well. I use the Speed Pick ratings, but you have to change them around a bit. First I look for races where there is at least six points between the top horse and the sixth horse. Eliminate all other horses. From the top six, also eliminate any horse with a fitness rating of one thumb up and especially one thumb down. Lastly check the speed map and take two points off any horse that the map says will be wide. If the top horse in the final ratings is two points or more better than the next best, bet it to win and use it as a banker in quinellas and quinella-place bets. Otherwise just box bet the top horses in Q and QPs. I also get some good wins by taking all the remaining horses from the top six (usually only two-to-four horses in each race) and betting them in race to race doubles.
