I would like to send some ideas or samples for merchandise development. Can I do that?

The Hong Kong Jockey Club always welcomes ideas for new products from our customers, horse racing enthusiasts and suppliers, but we do need to make sure that you are aware of some guidelines surrounding unsolicited suggestions. As you may know, The Hong Kong Jockey Club maintain has a retail and merchandising team to develop products. Your "new idea," therefore, may be an idea that The Hong Kong Jockey Club has already considered or is already under development. Accordingly, any unsolicited idea, model, sketch, samples or the like that you send to The Hong Kong Jockey Club will become the property of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Due to the large number of such submissions we do receive, we also cannot return your submission(s) to you. In addition, by making an unsolicited submission to The Hong Kong Jockey Club, you waive any and all claims you may have against The Hong Kong Jockey Club relating to the submission and The Hong Kong Jockey Club's use of the submission. Finally, your submission to The Hong Kong Jockey Club, or The Hong Kong Jockey Club's use of the submission, does not constitute an explicit or implied agreement between The Hong Kong Jockey Club and you, and does not obligate The Hong Kong Jockey Club to you in any way. These conditions are necessary to protect both you and The Hong Kong Jockey Club, and if you are uncomfortable with them, then we must regrettably ask you not to submit any unsolicited ideas or samples to us. If merchandise is sold out at the gift shops, can I purchase them through another channel?

In general, when merchandise is sold out at one sales location, it may still be available at another sales location. However, if merchandise is completely sold out across all locations, then it will not be possible to purchase merchandise through other channels. The order quantity will vary depending on anticipated demand. Sometimes, unexpected demand may cause one item to be sold out faster than another. The Hong Kong Jockey Club launches new merchandise throughout the racing season. Check periodically with our website or visit our retail outlets for new product launches.

Does the Hong Kong Jockey Club guarantee its merchandise?

Our products are intended for use under normal circumstance. As with all other products, care should be taken to ensure the product's longevity. All reasonable care has been taken to ensure product quality of The Hong Kong Jockey Club merchandise. The Hong Kong Jockey Club cannot guarantee our product for defects or damage that occurred due to unusual circumstances, abusive force or normal wear and tear.
