KING OF DANES

Dr C P H Osborne has today advised that KING OF DANES had its final gallop today. The report he had from the trainer was that the horse worked well and when Dr Osborne examined KING OF DANES after its work he found the horse to be sound at both walk and trot and the swelling over the off stifle had resolved. He was of the view at this time the horse has made a full recovery and is currently suitable to race on Sunday.

RAINBOW AND GOLD

Dr W H Chan has today advised that RAINBOW AND GOLD did some cantering work at the track this morning after which he performed an endoscopic examination. He said this revealed a very small amount of mucus in the windpipe of the horse and Trainer P C Kan had reported to him that there was no indication of RAINBOW AND GOLD coughing subsequent to its work. Dr Chan reported he is of the view at this time RAINBOW AND GOLD is suitable to take its place in the field on Sunday.
