BOCELLI (SIN)
Conan McLynn, the travelling head lad to trainer Patrick Busuttin, reported the rangy Singaporean contender to be in good shape after a fast piece of work yesterday. "He pulled out very well this morning and ate up well. He has settled in great, put back on the two kilogrammes he lost in travelling and is 100%".

MOMENTUM (HK)
Momentum worked on the all-weather track this morning and moved well. Trainer David Hayes, however, isn't expecting his grey gelding to finish ahead of the likes of Jim And Tonic and Silvano. "We're hoping for a miracle," he said.

PEAK POWER (HK)
Trainer, David Hill: "He did a good bit of work on the all-weather this morning and he's in good form." Asked what he would rate as a good performance by Peak Power, one of the Hong Kong Cup's outsiders, Hill said: "Winning, of course! You've got to be confident."

TERRE A TERRE (FR)
Up-and-coming French trainer Eric Libaud watched his French Group One winning filly go through her paces over 1400 metres on the grass. Owner Antonia Devin said: "Terre A Terre has never been the best of movers and the going up the stands' side her seemed plenty firm enough. We would ideally like some rain for her. She has got over her travelling now."
