This morning whilst riding SMART WINNER in its work, Trainer D Cruz was dislodged. At no time did he lose consciousness, but after arriving at the hospital it was established he had dislocated his left shoulder.

Mr Cruz will undergo an operation on his shoulder next Monday, but will seek leave from the hospital staff to attend the Happy Valley race meeting this Sunday.
