Licensing Committee's Decision - Jockey Lennart Hammer Hansen

The following
decision was made, via circulation of paper, by the Licensing Committee
today:-
German Jockey Lennart Hammer Hansen has
been granted, subject to a satisfactory medical examination, a Club Jockey's
Licence for the period 10th January 2002 to 17th March 2002, inclusive.
Jockey Hansen, 29, was born in Denmark and served the initial two years
of his apprentice in that country. In 1991 Jockey Hansen moved to Germany
to complete his apprenticeship and won the Apprentice Championship on
two occasions in that country. During his career in Germany, Jockey Hansen
has had 4837 race rides having ridden 553 winners (winning ratio 8.75%)
including 28 Listed Races and 9 Group Races. Jockey Hansen has ridden
extensively throughout Europe and Scandinavia having ridden Group Winners
in Germany, Italy, France and Denmark.
Jockey Hansen rode FABERGER in the Hong Kong Mile at the International
Races racemeeting in Hong Kong on 17th December 2000. Jockey Hansen has
given his riding weight at 117 lbs (53.5 kg).
