Hong Kong looks set to play a strong hand at the Singapore's Airlines International Cup meeting at Kranji on Saturday, May 11, with 19 individual entries standing their ground at the second nomination stage today.

The third leg of the World Series Racing Championship, the S$3 million (HK$12.6 million) Singapore Airlines International Cup (Gr.1-2000m), has elicited an excellent response from Hong Kong trainers with eleven entries. Olympic Express, the Hong Kong Derby winner, heads the Sha Tin-based contingent.

Firebolt, victor in last weekend's Centenary Sprint Cup at Sha Tin is the pick of eight possible engagements for the S$1 million (HK$4.2 million) Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Sprint (Gr.3-1200m).
