Precision and Idol, both trained by David
Oughton, have joined the Group 1 Audemars
Piguet QE II Cup field in place of scratchings Jim And Tonic
from France and With Anticipation from the United States.
Precision finished runner-up to Olympic Express in
last month's Hong Kong Derby over the Audemars Piguet QEII Cup course
and distance, while Idol won last season's Hong Kong Gold Cup over the
same journey.
In addition, Dashing Winner - third in the Derby -
has been named as reserve for the Cup. Trained by Peter Ng, he has performed
well from 1000 metres to 2000m, with three wins and four other placings
this season.
The HK$14 million cup at Sha Tin on April 21
is the second leg of the World
Series Racing Championship.
