12 April 2002

Precision and Idol, both trained by David Oughton, have joined the Group 1 Audemars Piguet QE II Cup field in place of scratchings Jim And Tonic from France and With Anticipation from the United States.

Precision finished runner-up to Olympic Express in last month's Hong Kong Derby over the Audemars Piguet QEII Cup course and distance, while Idol won last season's Hong Kong Gold Cup over the same journey.

In addition, Dashing Winner - third in the Derby - has been named as reserve for the Cup. Trained by Peter Ng, he has performed well from 1000 metres to 2000m, with three wins and four other placings this season.

The HK$14 million cup at Sha Tin on April 21 is the second leg of the World Series Racing Championship.
