The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast the Japan Cup for racing fans' enjoyment and betting at Sha Tin race meeting this Sunday (24 November).

The Japan Cup will be run over 2200 metres at Nakayama Racecourse and carry a purse of US$3.96 million (approx. HK$31 million).  The race has been scheduled as Race 4 of Sunday's race card.  A total of 11 races are programmed and the following adjustments have been made to the betting pools.

Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Tierce and Trio are available in all local races.  As there are more than 14 runners in the Japan Cup, only Win, Place and Quinella will be offered.

*As Double pool is not available for the Japan Cup (Race 4), there will be no 3^rd and 4^th Double for the day.  The pool for Races 1 & 2 and Races 2 & 3 will be respectively set as the 1^st and 2^nd Double as usual.  Races 5 and 6 will be set as the 5^th Double, and so forth.
