Red Sun, the runner to race for a Hong Kong debut at the Japan Cup Dirt this Saturday, partners with jockey F Coetzee at the final workout at Nakayama on Friday morning. Trainer Tony Cruz was on hand to oversee the training of his charge. Body weight of Red Sun dropped by 40lbs upon his arrival in Tokyo but the runner has since regained more than 20lbs as the horse's appetite improved and is reported to have eaten up very well this morning. Cruz said he is very pleased with the form of Red Sun.
