| 5 | 6 | M M NEBULA (G279) | Near the 1500 Metres, when being shifted in to obtain cover, was awkwardly placed close to COOL BLUE and got its head up when being steadied. Briefly held up making the Home Turn. After the race, M Chadwick advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions and stated that he issued such instructions to ensure that M M NEBULA was able to obtain cover. |

After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount did not travel well at any stage of the event and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |
| 13 | 3 | V LOVE YOU (J048) | After the race, B Thompson reported that from a wide barrier he was requested to take up a forward position. He said racing in blinkers for the first time V LOVE YOU showed more pace than expected and when caught wide he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to lead the event. |
| 14 | 2 | ROBOT FIGHTER (H309) | Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. The performance of ROBOT FIGHTER, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ROBOT FIGHTER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |
