Background:
Son of a trainer on the regional NAR circuit, Keiji Yoshimura joined the JRA as a groom in 1996. He obtained his training licence in 2011 and established his own stables the following year. Between 2015 to 2016, Quality filly Queens Ring contributed all four of the trainer’s Pattern race successes, including his the G2 Fillies’ Revue in 2015, and his first Group 1 win, the Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Kyoto. His best performer of late is Obamburumai, winner of the 2022 G2 Keio Hai Nisai Stakes and lucrative Golden Eagle in Australia.
