8 HAPPY ZERO (CK079) D Beadman XB/H Settled in midfield along the inside, tracked well into the straight, held up to 300M but came through with a devastating turn of foot, drew 2Ls clear and cruised home.
1 SACRED KINGDOM (CG268) B Prebble TT Slowly away but not hurried, behind horses in the upper stretch but came through strongly to briefly lead inside 200M, outpaced by the impressive winner but continued on well to secure 2nd.
5 JOY AND FUN (CH014) B Doyle B-/CP2 Patiently ridden and settled in the rear group 6Ls off the pace, went for a gap on the inside and made good headway inside 250M to take 3rd on the line.
9 MEDIC POWER (CG303) M Chadwick TT Assumed a position in midfield and raced 3-wide into the home turn, rallied well inside 300M and was just edged out to 4th in a close finish.
6 ONE WORLD (CH133) W C Marwing XB/H/TT Settled 2-wide behind mid-division, checked near 600M then held up early in straight, angled out into clear and produced a strong finish inside 200M. Never nearer.
13 BRILLIANT CHAPTER (CJ100) J Lloyd -- Behind midfield 4Ls back, 3-wide turning into straight, made steady progress down the outside but made little impression on the runaway winner.
11 TUSCAN SPIRIT (CK055) D Whyte -- Prominent down the back straight, sat back turning into straight, challenged inside 350M and put in a mild finish between horses before turning flat close home.
14 SUNNY POWER (CG203) Z Purton -- Pursued the leaders throughout, held every chance turning in but run ended near 150M then faded away.
2 NIGHTLIGN (CJ145) G Cheyne -- Chased the pace in the 2nd flight, kept to the fence throughout, briefly threatened early in straight before weakening inside 200M.
10 LUCKY QUALITY (CH134) Y T Cheng -- Quickly moved to the lead, set even pace upfront and led them till 250M, came up empty under pressure and steadily tired thereafter.
7 ARMADA (CE246) O Doleuze V Dropped back to last few 5Ls behind leaders, fanned 3-wide into the straight, driven 400M out but took time to muster speed, stayed on towards the line.
12 YELLOW DIAMOND (CD246) K C Leung B Fractious in stalls and gave others a big start, recovered to race in last pair, driven inside 400M but no progress, never a factor.
3 INSPIRATION (CG111) G Mosse XB/TT Held up in midfield, ridden along off the home turn but found disappointingly little in the finish, eased final 100M. (Blood in trachea)
4 DIM SUM (CH226) J Winks B Went forward as expected and helped forcing the pace on the outside, struggled to sprint with them passing 400M and dropped rapidly out of contention.
