3 4 WERTHER (V083) H Bowman -- Caught wide from draw 11, no cover from 1400M, keen and allowed to stride forward tracking leader, couldn't contain the winner inside 250M but battled on well under pressure, lost 2nd late stages.
4 12 SOUTHERN LEGEND (A252) U Rispoli V Dropped back to last and trailed the field most of the way to straight, widest on straightening, produced good late charge and just missed 3rd.
5 5 BEAUTY ONLY (S411) N Callan H/TT Held up near the rear as expected, brought wide to challenge, rattled home late to just miss frame.
6 7 WESTERN EXPRESS (A090) S Clipperton -- Bean awkwardly, waited with near the rear, saved ground on the fence, 4Ls to make up 400M, worked home solidly.
7 1 BEAUTY GENERATION (V380) K C Leung B/TT Settled just off leader early stages, 3-wide no cover from 700M, moved up to challenge 350M, gave out near 100M and swamped.
8 2 HELENE PARAGON (V167) T Berry H Slow to begin, held up towards the rear along the inside, shifted outwards 500M for clear running, responded well initially but flattened final 150M.
9 9 GIANT TREASURE (T148) B Prebble H Soon led and crossed to the fence 1300M, set steady pace, caught by rivals inside 250M, weakened towards the line.
10 3 TIME WARP (A066) Z Purton TT Slow out, ended up towards the rear, raced keenly and allowed to stride forward but no cover from 900M, held ground early straight then weakened 200M. (Jockey: not able to finish off due to circumstances in the race.)
11 8 JOYFUL TRINITY (V110) G Mosse -- Held up towards the rear, driven wide 550M, lacked the dash, kept on without threat.
12 10 HORSE OF FORTUNE (T118) N Rawiller -- Settled down behind mid-division 5-6Ls from leaders, responded only fairly on straightening, raced tight over final 200M but not going the pace to challenge.
13 13 SICHUAN DAR (T375) C Schofield TT Moved up to track leaders early stages, shuffled back to midfield halfway, couldn't go on with it inside 300M, awkwardly placed 200M losing some momentum but made little difference to the results.
