2 2 BERLIN TANGO (E120) Bumped on jumping. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 NOBLE PURSUIT (H324) When questioned regarding his riding near the 500 Metres, A Atzeni stated that his mount travelled only fairly throughout the event. He said near the 500 Metres he commenced to encourage his mount forward whereby NOBLE PURSUIT responded to his riding and then became awkwardly placed behind EIGHTEEN PALMS which resulted in him having to steady his mount. He said as a result NOBLE PURSUIT lost momentum at that stage before shifting to the inside of EIGHTEEN PALMS and then TRUE GENIUS on straightening where it secured clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 1 GALLANT WAKING (G165) In the early stages raced keenly and near the 1500 Metres was steadied away from DEVILDOM.
5 10 KIMBERLEY (H329) Bumped on jumping.
6 12 SMILING TIME (E235) Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. After the 500 Metres was held up for clear running behind NOBLE PURSUIT and near the 400 Metres was steadied when NOBLE PURSUIT shifted in slightly. Then raced tight to the inside of NOBLE PURSUIT for some distance after the 300 Metres.
7 7 INTREPID WINNER (G144) Bumped at the start and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 6 DEVILDOM (H445) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 8 AFFORDABLE (J242) Shifted out on jumping, made contact with INTREPID WINNER and became unbalanced. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
10 4 EIGHTEEN PALMS (H033) After the race, A Badel stated that, in his opinion, EIGHTEEN PALMS did not run out a strong 1800 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 11 TRADITION (J111) Jumped only fairly. Held up for clear running on the Home Turn.
12 5 TRUE GENIUS (J073) No report.
