  • Scored again in a 1582-meter plater (selling race) on June 3, 2013, and
  • Improved his win tally to three (3) by prevailing in a Class 4 (BHA Scale), 1659-meter event on June 19, 2013.
  • COMMENTS AND PROSPECT:

GOLD TALENT is sired by LAWMAN, a scant 2-time Group I winner in France featuring certain stamina, with 4 career victories all inclusive from 1600 to 2200 metres. Though having just started his stud career in 2008, this new stallion has indeed picked up steam fast and furious in Europe these few seasons, producing in no time a trio of Group I winners, namely St. Jameˇ¦s Palace Stakes (ENG-GI) champion MOST IMPROVED, Irish 1000 Guineas (IRE-GI) winner JUST THE JUDGE, and ROCKET FLY, a current starter in Hong Kong after his fabulous Continental campaign raced as LAW ENFORCEMENT ˇV and a victory in the in the Gran Criterium (ITA-GI) at San Siro, Milan. Back to the European juvenile divisions, DANCEALOT, racing for Saeed Manana of WARRSAN fame, and HIDDEN OASIS, a rare flat racer for prominent National Hunt owner J.P. McManus, are now a pair of leading two-year-olds fronting the attack for LAWMAN.

As a third-generation grandson respectively of GULCH from up top, and 1987 European Champion Juvenile WARNING from underneath, a lineage that is also traceable to IN REALITY, the only living tail-male line carrying the ˇ§moistestˇ¨ MAN 'O WAR's blood to this day, GOLD TALENT is bred for plenty of speed and all-weather talent. Moreover, with dam RYE, GOLD TALENT himself and his siblings all being proven synthetic winners overseas, his forthcoming all-weather appearances at Sha Tin should also be noticed. All that said, as a mere three-race winner against average opposition from abroad, yet rather prominently slotted in Class 3 for a head start in the Territory, the prospect for GOLD TALENT is just initially positive.
