Horseshow Fixtures at Beas River Country Club

Beas River Riding School is located at the Beas River Country Club in Sheung Shui. The Riding School is divided up into several sections that provide the following services for The Hong Kong Jockey Club Members:

• The Riding School
  Where riders have lessons. Riders can start from six years old with no upper age limit, as long as riders are physically fit.
  
  
• Livery horses
  Members may rent a horse on a permanent basis.
  
  
• Retraining of retired racehorse
  This section is where horses are re-educated to become riding horses.

Facilities in the riding school include offices, a rest room, changing rooms, a floodlight covered paddock (50 x 30 metres), two outdoor sand arenas (130 x 60 metres), two smaller sand arenas and grass areas with cross-country jumping fences. There is also a hacking trail in the surrounding hills and through local villages.
