Japan Cup, the 11th leg of Emirates World Series Racing Championship, will take place on Sunday, 25 November at the Tokyo Racecourse. The 2,400-metre Japan Cup is a Group One invitation race open to horses aged three years and over and is worth approximately US$4.5 million in total prize money.

Indigenous Heads to Tokyo for Japan Cup

Former Horse of the Year Indigenous, trained by Ivan Allan, left Hong Kong for Tokyo this afternoon. He will compete in the Japan Cup, the penultimate leg of the Emirates World Series Racing Championship 2001. He came second in the race in 1999. The horse is scheduled to return to Hong Kong on flight KZ 201 on November 27th.

Indigenous all set to go.
