THE SPRINT TRIAL TROPHY (Premier - 1000Metres)
The Sprint Trial Trophy was first run in 1998/99 racing season over a distance of 1400 metres and was targeted at potential Hong Kong Derby entries.
Starting from last season, the Sprint Trial Trophy has been re-positioned as a "lead-up" to the Hong Kong Sprint and is programmed today as a Premier Class handicapped over 1000 metres.
