Have you ever noticed the motion of a horse when it gallops at speed?
The gallop is the fastest and most exciting pace a horse can muster. Horses increase their speed from canter to gallop by taking longer strides. They push harder with their hind legs - that's where the power comes from - and stretch out their body, neck and head. At times all four feet are off the ground! |
