| The goal of the annual Hong Kong International
Sale is straight forward, to offer local
and/or international owners the best possible
chances to succeed in owning a good horse.
All selected racing prospects must go
through stringent pre-import veterinary
inspections before allowing to be imported
for the sale.
Upon arriving here, these prospects will
received months of training before having
to breeze in front of owners and trainers
days before the sale. The club veterinary
surgeons will scope them to their satisfaction
before allowing them getting into the
sale ring in the HKIS. For those who failed
the ensuing check-up will be withdrawn
from the sale.
HKJC will retain and observe the progress
of the withdrawn lots and only to the
total satisfaction of the club that they
could be re-offered or tender to eligible
owners at a later sale or date.
