International Races Day
The
Hong Kong International Races are one of the most exciting and
prestigious events of the racing calendar, with a maximum of 40
overseas runners competing from all the leading racing jurisdictions
around the world. The Hong Kong International Races 2000 comprise
four races: three International Group One races - The
Hong Kong Cup (2000m), the final leg of the Emirates World
Series Racing Championship, The
Hong Kong Mile (1600m), The
Hong Kong Vase (2400m) and and one Group Two race-The
Hong Kong Sprint (1000 metre). The four International Races
carry total prize money of HK$54 million (approximately US$6.9
million).
