The HK$14-million Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Mile (G1) is the world’s richest 1600-metre turf event. Formerly known as the Hong Kong International Bowl, the race debuted in 1991, and will be run this year on Sunday, 12 December, as part of the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Races programme at Sha Tin Racecourse.
