The Club has a longstanding core value as a responsible gaming operator. In addition to the stringent responsible gambling protection and control measures, we firmly believed that it is important to develop programmes promoting positive and healthy lifestyle among younger generations and their families.

2019 Family Micro Video Contest



Themed "positive and healthy lifestyle", the Family Micro Video Contest aimed to encourage people to embrace positive and healthy lifestyle, and stay away from unhealthy. Under the unfailing support of the programme and community partners, Hong Kong Woman Development Association, Kowloon School Heads Association, We Web, Hong Kong Micro Movie Institute, as well as Sing Tao News Group, the contest received overwhelming response with more than 200 entries submission for public and professional categories.

Officiating by Mr Caspar Tsui, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Raymond Tam, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs of the Club and the chairlady of Kowloon Women's Organisation Federationand Hong Kong Women Development Association, the award presentation ceremony held on July 6 was concluded with attendance of close to 350 participants. Other guests attending the ceremony included members of the Ping Wo Fund and Betting and Lotteries Commission.

A series of on-site interviews were conducted to gauge inputs from awardees and participants. Most respondents conceded that this contest is an effective platform to promote "Healthy and Positive Lifestyle", and they will further promote this in their network.

2019 Family Volunteer Academy

The Club collaborated with the Hong Kong Women Development Association to launch the ‘2019 Family Volunteer Academy’ in April 2019. Supported by the Labour and welfare Bureau, Women’s Commission, Hong Kong Education City, Kowloon Women’s Organisation Federation and Sing Tao News Corporation, over 830 family volunteers and parents attended the Academy.

The content-rich academy aims to equip family volunteers with necessary skills and knowledge in parenting, family communications and counselling, as well as financial management tips. Distinguished speakers and subject experts in child psychology, family counselling, play therapy and financial management were invited to deliver thematic talks and host panels in the Academy. It is anticipated that around 9,000 families in local community would be benefited from this programme.
