How can we measure the enthusiasm of race-goers?
In this snapshot of 1900s, we think the photographer did capture that passion. This could be a very hot sunny day, so children were sitting on the grass under the umbrella shades. Surprisingly, the six ladies were wearing their Japanese formal kimonos, and enjoying the races. It seems weather was totally irrelevant when it came to racing. Hope you can share their joy too.
