The Appeal lodged by Trainer A Schutz against the decision of the Racing Stewards made on 3 June 2014 to impose on him a fine of $15,000 for a breach of Rule 140(1) was heard by the Stewards of the Jockey Club at 10:00 a.m. on 29 August 2014.
The Appeal Panel carefully considered all the evidence taken in this case together with the further statements taken in the hearing today.
The Panel dismissed the Appeal and ordered the deposit forfeited to the Race Fund.
