Winter overseeding works has commenced for the Sha Tin turf track and the trotting ring grass paddock from Monday 13 October 2014 onwards. The following arrangements will be made to allow for winter grass establishment at the 1800m chute. Horses eligible for Tuesday's and Saturday’s turf gallops will not be affected.
(i) Monday 20 October
The 1800m chute will be open for stall tests, horses entered for the Happy Valley meeting of Wednesday 22 October and horses intended to be entered for the Sha Tin meeting of Sunday 26 October only.
(ii) Thursday 23 October
The 1800m chute will be open for stall tests and horses entered for the Sha Tin meeting of Sunday 26 October only.
(iii) Trotting ring grass paddock
The trotting ring grass paddock will be closed from 16 to 31 October 2014 and this area will not be available for gate practice.
