The following is a summary of decisions made by the Licensing Committee at their meeting held earlier today:
1. The Committee agreed to grant, subject to the usual formalities, a Club Jockey’s licence to:
- Umberto Rispoli for the period 15 November 2014 until 15 January 2015, both dates inclusive;
- Maxime Guyon for the period 1 January 2015 until 1 March 2015, both dates inclusive.
2. The Committee:
- noted the performance of all Trainers at the conclusion of the 2013/2014 racing season.
- noted that Trainer Almond Lee had been advised in writing that, as he had failed to satisfy the provisions of the Trainer's Performance Criteria for the second occasion, should he fail to satisfy the Criteria at the conclusion of any subsequent racing season, he may not be granted a trainer's licence for the following racing season.
- noted the written explanations submitted by Trainer Sean Woods as to the decline in his stable’s performance during the 2013/2014 racing season.
