HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast three of the Caulfield Cup Day races from Australia and five of the British Champions Day races from UK on Saturday, 18 October. Bets will be accepted* on these races.
Race times and betting pools
The first race of the Caulfield Cup Day will start at 1:20 pm on Saturday and that of the British Champions Day will start at 9:20 pm on the same day. These overseas races will be scheduled as Simulcast Race 1 (S1-1) to Race 8 (S1-8).
Quartet was relaunched for local racedays in January 2014 and has received good customer feedback. It will therefore be extended to simulcast racedays this season, offered on one of the races each simulcast day. Details of the post times and betting pools for this simulcast raceday are:

- If there is no winner for the Double Trio, the jackpot generated will be carried forward to the Double Trio pool of Cox Plate Day on 25 October.

The overseas races will be broadcast on TV and radio, as well as at Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs). Customers can review the overseas races at www.hkjcracing.com one hour after the running of each race.

'S1' must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the S1 box (Photo 1) and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or the interfaces of Interactive Services as appropriate. Those who place bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input 'overseas meeting' and the race number respectively.
If S1 or overseas races are not indicated, they will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for the overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, Interactive Services, and the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
